Big Apple and a Big Dress

Halllooooooo out there! So as Jen said I had a little adventure with her and Frances in the city last week. We had yummy food and ice cream and went on the Toys R Us Carousel in Times Square. We rode in the Monopoly car. I was unfortunate enough not to catch Frances in the act of any sort of misadventures, so I wasn’t able to laugh as much as I usually do when she is around, but she did bump into a few people and that was funny. HEEHEE. I picked up Luis at the airport and had to fess up to leaving his plant in my car during a very hot day and wilting it. Ah me.
We went to his godbrother’s wedding on Saturday, which was interesting because it taught me things that I do and do not want to do for my wedding. Poofy is not my day at the beach. But I did tear up at the wedding and embarassed, laughed off about 10 people who asked when me and Luis were getting married or saying that I was next, or one lady who made Luis at a loss for words for about the only time in his life by pointing at me and asking, “what is your wife’s name?” I swear I saw his eyes bulge for a moment. The reception was fun, but they played 50’s and 60’s all night instead of sexy Spanish dances that I had hoped. Ah well, at least I wasn’t at home watching TV!! Miss you all, Thank you Jen and Frances for being such wonderful hosts and hanging out with little old me! CONGRATULATIONS DAWN!
