Leapin’ Leprechauns!
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Everyone! I wish I was going home for corned beef and potatoes and Irish soda bread. Man. It’s so easy to get out-of-touch with the legends and excitement of holidays, isn’t it? I found this interesting article about how to catch leprechauns today. It sounds like a real art–takes a lot of patience. But if you want to give it a go, here’s a good place to start!
Happy St Paddy’s day!! i like your theme…especailly your drunken leprachaun! i miss the cornbeef and soda bread too!! hope school is going well! When are you done again?!?..miss you tons!!
I caught a lerprechaun right here in buffalo. His name is Matt Kenny, but he certainly did not have a pot of gold!!!
So we just drank way too much Guinness.
Cheers
Enjoying the St. Patrick’s Motifa! I never realized you were such a St. Paddy’s fan… this holiday doesn’t really involve chocolate at all!
I did spend a day or so wondering what Caitlin was talking about with the drunken leprochaun.. Maybe I celebrated the holiday too much 🙂
Nice Limerick Mac Dory–too bad about the gold! That would certainly come in handy. My Dad told me today that Leprechauns are not real. Earthshattering. Maybe that’s why you didn’t find the gold, but I still have faith in the fairy world. I bet you’ll find it eventually!
Cait–seriously, going into corned beef and cabbage (etc) withdrawl. Between college and now this, it feels like I am never going to get it again! Perhaps we should plan a big P-DAY Party for next year and make 30 lbs. of corned beef and just as much soda bread. (We can probably go lighter on the cabbage, or it might not turn out to be such an enjoyable evening…). We’re graduating in three weeks–April 8th! AIIHGAIHG! How’s school going? Do they give you a Spring break there?
Carrie, I think that although chocolate is not a commonly recognized part of the St. Patrick’s Day tradition, chocolate is an essential component to any festive celebration.
