Have you tried any new interesting pumpkin recipes? I saw this show on TV about a big pumpkin festival in which they had a pumpkin cook-off! They put pumpkin in ALL sorts of weird stuff including bruchetta (I think it’s called), salsa, fettucine…

Oh, and Emeril did the soup-in-a-pumpkin thing, and he said you’re supposed to bake the scooped-out pumpkin first to dry it out. Why didn’t Martha tell us that? geez.

Mark made pumpkin pie shots for the halloween party. I didn’t partake of course but they looked cool. You set them on fire and stuff.

You should enjoy the small patch of warm weather while it lasts. I am certainly trying to put every mile on my motorcycle while Mr. Sun is still sticking around.

Soon there will be lots of rain. LOTS of it.
But rain can be fun too. :p

I have tried several new pumpkin recipes!! My favorite is a pumpkin cranberry bread pudding. I’m loving bread puddings lately, so much opportunity for creative variation! I remember having those pumpkin pie shots at a previous TEP partay–there seemed to be some incident with lighting a wig and then the entire floor on fire if I remember correctly… they were quite tasty though! Ding!!

What is UP with all this rain?! I thought the weather in CA was supposed to be beautiful all the time?!!? What happened–it’s been raining constantly for the past 2 weeks!!! The murky fog and dampness is nice every once in a while. I’m not sure I’m digging the 98hr continual murkiness though…
